In a 7-minute long video CNN was introduced to Choumicha, the cook and TV host known for her culinary experience in Morocco. «For me cooking is sharing. Sharing your knowledge, your happiness. Visiting the Moroccan chef at her place in Casablanca while shopping for her show, Choumicha was one of the most popular examples of Moroccan cooking for so many years. Speaking to the camera, she explained what cooking represents for her. «Once I start cooking, I feel like everything stops around me and the only thing that is important is what I'm doing», she said. «It is really important to show the world the diversity of Moroccan cooking, I try to share it with my television show to the international channels.» «Why is it important? Because unfortunately the Moroccan restaurants we find abroad only propose ceremonial dishes. Like couscous ... but in fact Moroccan cuisine is very much richer and can not be reduced to these four or five dishes». The cook who started her career away from the culinary field to find herself drawn to it naturally, «I'm enjoying it so much that it's more of a cooking show than anything else, One day they wanted me to be the host of one of the cooking shows and suggested I do it by myself». With her spontaneous and natural approach, the young woman managed to succeed leading a bright carreer in the industry. Revealing her future plans, Choumicha declared that «this year I will do a television program for the month of Ramadan for an Arab TV channel and I will be working on a book in Dutch».
