The Polisario Front's leader, Brahim Ghali, visited Algeria on Tuesday, the APS news agency reported. He held talks with the Algerian Prime Minister, Ahmed Ouyahia. «The talks have made it possible to assess the situation of the Western Sahara conflict at the regional, African, and international levels and review cooperation between Algeria and SADR», said a statement issued by the prime minister's office. This visit comes three weeks before the 5th AU-European Union summit scheduled for November 29-30 in Abidjan, Ivory Coast. The Polisario's presence at this international partnership meeting is at the heart of an intense diplomatic campaign launched by the supporters of the «SADR» against Morocco's allies. Morocco's allies refuse the Polisario to attend the summit as it is not recognized by the United Nations while others demand the self-proclaimed entity's presence.
