The «Face à Picasso» exhibition, held from the 17th of May to the 31st of July at the Mohammed VI Museum of Modern and Contemporary Art (MMVI) in Rabat, will open its doors for visitors freely starting from Thursday. This decision was taken by the National Museum Foundation to celebrate the success of the exhibition «Face à Picasso», which already attracted more than 32,000 visitors. However, the MMVI will be closed on the 30th of July to celebrate the feast of throne. «Picasso» brings together more than a hundred works (paintings, sculptures, ceramics, photographs, drawings and prints) from the collections of the Picasso-Paris National Museum. Ventilated in eleven sections each exploring a part of Picasso's genius pieces of art, the exhibition is basically a chronological and thematic journey that condenses Picasso's work, with a skilful assessment. With a chrono-thematic physiognomy, this exhibition revives all the creative domains of Pablo Picasso, his entourage and his life.
