Ibrahim Khaireddine, head of the regional investment center of Marrakech claimed today that Morocco is a special and unique destination in the sector of medical tourism. He assured that the kingdom has developed its medical supplies under safe and stable political circumstances. During the inauguration of the second edition of «Africa Medical Tourism expo» held in Marrakech from 22d to 24th of March, khaireddine declared that «rejoining the African Union will bring great interest to Morocco in the sector of health tourism». The head of the regional investment center said that Morocco's AU membership «will reinforce the economy of Africa as a continent, encourage investments, and develop an active network in the field of medical tourism.» Moreover, Khaireddine insisted that Marrakech has all the required means and conditions to promote Medical tourism. He explained that the famous city owns the necessary advanced technology platforms and equipments in addition to a number of highly qualified doctors. These factors can provide medical services to tourists. Africa medical tourism exposition is an important African event that is dedicated to health and tourism. The exposition gathers specialists and actors of the field from all over the world to develop medical tourism in Africa.
