Snowfall ranging from 5 to 15 cm is expected at elevations above 1,800 meters on Monday and Tuesday in several provinces of Morocco, according to the General Directorate of Meteorology (DGM). Accumulations of 10 to 15 cm are forecast in the provinces of Azilal, Beni Mellal, Midelt, Tinghir, Ouarzazate, and Al Haouz, the DGM stated in an orange-level weather alert. Meanwhile, snowfall of 5 to 10 cm is expected during the same period in the provinces of Ifrane, Boulemane, Taroudant, and Chichaoua.
