President of the Royal Spanish Football Federation, Rafael Louzan, is expected to arrive in Morocco on Tuesday, where he will meet with his Moroccan counterpart, Fouzi Lekjaa, to lobby for the Santiago Bernabéu Stadium to host the 2030 World Cup final. The tournament will be jointly hosted by Morocco, Spain, and Portugal. Lekjaa is aiming for the Grand Hassan II Stadium in Casablanca, which is still under construction and expected to have a capacity of 118,000 spectators, to host the final match. However, Louzan continues to support Madrid's bid, emphasizing that the Santiago Bernabéu Stadium is one of the most prestigious and important stadiums in the world. In a statement during his reception at the Madrid Community headquarters, Louzan stressed that he «will not let Madrid miss this opportunity», according to Spanish media reports. FIFA requires that the stadium hosting the World Cup final have a capacity of at least 80,000 spectators. Although the Grand Hassan II Stadium has not yet been completed, the facility is expected to be the world's largest stadium, surpassing North Korea's Rungrado 1st of May Stadium, which can accommodate 115,000 spectators. As for the match organization, the 2030 World Cup games in Morocco will be held across six cities : Casablanca, Rabat, Tangier, Agadir, Fez, and Marrakech. Spain has allocated nine cities for the tournament, including Madrid and Barcelona, with matches set to take place at the Santiago Bernabéu, Metropolitano, Camp Nou, and Cornellà. Other host cities include Seville, Malaga, Bilbao, San Sebastián, La Coruña, Las Palmas, and Zaragoza. In Portugal, matches will be hosted in Porto and Lisbon.
