The Israeli chain of department stores, Hamashbir 365 announced on Sunday that it has signed a long-term license agreement with an American fashion house Kenneth Cole to sell its products in Morocco. According to the Jerusalem Post, this agreement will also allow the Israeli chain to sell Kenneth Cole's products in all EU countries as part of the development of the company's international arm. The agreement, which will cover a five-year period with two additional five-year extension options, grants Hamashbir an exclusive license to sell Kenneth Cole products through various wholesale, franchise, and retail models, as well as on e-commerce sites or large department store websites in Morocco. «The long-term license agreement with Kenneth Cole outside of Israel represents a significant milestone in establishing the international activity arm of Hamashbir», Rami Shavit, CEO of Hamashbir 365, said. Kenneth Cole is an American fashion brand known for shoes, clothing, and accessories for men and women. The brand was founded in 1982 by designer Kenneth Cole. Over the years, the company has expanded into apparel, accessories, watches, and fragrances. Hamashbir has 33 branches across Israel. The company offers a wide variety of products, including clothing, footwear, home goods, electronics, and cosmetics. Hamashbir was founded in 1947 by the Histadrut, the General Federation of Labour in Israel. In 2003, the company was acquired by Rami Shavit and a group of investors. The company went public on the Tel Aviv Stock Exchange in 2007.
