Morocco allowed the first commercial shipment from Ceuta on Tuesday, with a truck loaded with automotive materials crossing the border at 3:30 pm. The operation comes after two failed attempts in January due to lack of documentation, according to Iberian media. This time, however, the truck, belonging to Vivera Atlántico-Mediterráneo, completed all customs procedures without issues. The Spanish governmental delegation in Ceuta reported that the truck completed its legal formalities at Moroccan facilities outside the crossing, including the payment of due customs duties. The operation constitutes «an important step in the normalization of trade relations between the two countries», the Spanish Government Delegation in Ceuta said.
