Panama's newly appointed ambassador to Morocco, Isbeth L. Queuil Murcia, presented the symbolic copies of her credentials to Morocco's Foreign Minister, Nasser Bourita, in Rabat on Monday, according to reports from Moroccan diplomatic sources. The appointment of Queuil Murcia comes on the heels of Panama's decision to suspend relations with the «Sahrawi Arab Democratic Republic» (SADR), a move announced on November 21. Prior to her new role, Ambassador Queuil Murcia served as the Director General for Foreign Policy and as Panama's Deputy Representative to the United Nations. During a videoconference on November 27, Foreign Minister Bourita and his Panamanian counterpart, Javier Eduardo Martinez-Acha Vasquez, expressed a mutual commitment to enhancing bilateral trade and fostering a robust economic partnership centered on commerce and investment. The two countries also agreed to establish a Cooperation Roadmap, aiming to create a practical framework for joint initiatives and activities.
