The Akdital Group has opened the International Oncology Center of Benguerir, a state-of-the-art facility located within the Health Care City, near Mohammed VI Polytechnic University (UM6P). With an investment of 226 million dirhams, this cutting-edge center marks a new step in the modernization of the healthcare sector in Morocco. Equipped with 81 hospital beds and employing over 160 staff members, the center offers comprehensive care for cancer patients. It includes a radiotherapy accelerator for targeted treatments, 23 chemotherapy chairs, and a nuclear medicine department equipped with a PET scan, a gamma camera, and facilities for radioactive iodine treatments. For surgical procedures, six modern operating rooms and 18 intensive care beds are available, complemented by eight resuscitation boxes for critical situations. The center has been designed to offer a smooth and personalized journey, from admission to discharge. Patients benefit from advanced diagnostics thanks to a medical analysis laboratory and a comprehensive radiology service, including MRI, CT scan, mammography, and ultrasound. An emergency service, operational 24/7, ensures immediate care. By establishing itself in Benguerir, the International Oncology Center is part of a broader ambition: to make the region a hub of excellence in health and innovation. Close to UM6P, this project strengthens synergies between research and quality care. A leader in the private healthcare sector in Morocco, Akdital has 31 establishments spread across 18 cities, with a total capacity of 3,610 beds and over 6,000 employees.
