The Ibn Nafis International Hospital, a new 100-bed facility specializing in cancer care, has officially opened its doors in Marrakech. Owned by the Akdital Group, the hospital offers a comprehensive range of oncology services, including hematology, tailored treatments, immunotherapy, radiotherapy, brachytherapy, bone marrow transplants, and specialized cancer surgery. It also provides nuclear medicine, senology, endoscopy, and biology services, employing a staff of 194, with 155 healthcare professionals. The hospital boasts cutting-edge facilities, including two latest-generation radiotherapy machines (halcyon and EDGE), 41 chemotherapy chairs, 8 multi-purpose intensive care units, and 6 ultra-modern operating theatres, according to a press release. This advanced equipment allows for «high-quality care, with particular attention paid to the comprehensive and personalized management of cancer patients», adds the same source. Following the Clinique internationale de Khouribga, the Akdital Group plans «other inaugurations this year in Essaouira, Tétouan, Errachidia, Benguerir, Dakhla, Taroudant, Kénitra, Meknès and Rabat». This expansion aims to support «the national drive to upgrade Morocco's healthcare sector» by establishing a «territorial network» of hospitals across various regions.
