On condition of anonymity, Moroccan diplomats accuse Algeria of imposing the Polisario at African Union summits with its international partners, using «false documents» and «recourse to violence», reports La Razon. At the recent Africa-Japan Forum, held from August 23 to 25 in Tokyo, «since the Japanese organizer does not recognize the pseudo 'SADR' and has never invited it, Algerian diplomacy resorted to fraud and the use of false documents, in addition to barbaric physical aggression, in order to give the false illusion that the fictitious entity participated in this event», Moroccan diplomatic sources told the Spanish daily. The Front «was neither invited (to the summit) nor recognized, despite Algeria's political pressure and the billions of Algerian taxpayers' dollars it wasted» in its support for the Polisario. Algeria's actions at TICAD «have caused the African continent to miss an important opportunity to further promote its development. African countries must hold it guilty and solely responsible» for the failure of the cooperation conclave with Japan, say the same sources. On the other hand, they welcomed the success of the summits with China, South Korea, and Indonesia, marked by «the exclusive presence of African UN member countries».
