The Royal Mansour in Marrakech has been named winner of the No.3 Gin Art of Hospitality Award, taking the top spot ahead of the upcoming International 50 Best Hotels in the World Awards in September 2024. The 600 voters of The World's 50 Best Hotels Academy chose the Royal Mansour as the establishment where they had the «best experience during the 18-month voting period». The award recognizes an establishment and its staff for «exceptional service and unrivalled attention to detail». Voters consider the hotel's ambience, unique experiences offered, and the quality of hospitality. This hotel in the city is a collection of 53 traditional Moroccan riads created by local craftsmen. It offers a haven of peace in the heart of the medina, featuring lush gardens, shaded areas under palm trees, and mosaic fountains. This spirit is also reflected in the gastronomic experience offered by the hotel's restaurants, which combine Mediterranean and Asian flavors. Emma Sleight, Head of Content for The World's 50 Best Hotels, believes that the hotel «has long been an exemplar of hospitality». «Less than a year after the Marrakech-Safi earthquake, this is particularly impressive. We are honored to celebrate this award, which is a testament to the hotel's resilience and dedication to providing exceptional service despite a difficult period», she added. Jean-Claude Messant, General Manager of Royal Mansour Collection, points out that this recognition is made possible «thanks to [the] exceptional staff, who tirelessly strive to offer the highest level of hospitality, ensuring that every guest leaves with magical and unique memories of their stay».
