Moroccan driver Suleiman Zanfari kicked off the Saudi Formula 4 Championship season in style, winning the first race at Kuwait Motor Sports City (February 1-3). Starting fourth, Zanfari overcame a challenging start to record the fastest lap and secure victory. This performance propelled him to the top of the provisional standings. He had previously dominated the Saudi Formula 4 Cup in Bahrain by claiming pole position and the race win in December. The intense first race saw a red flag restart, which Zanfari expertly navigated to take the lead and claim victory. However, in the second race, with the starting order reversed, he could only manage fourth place after climbing from tenth. A questionable penalty then dropped him to ninth in Race 3. Undeterred, Zanfari fought back in the final race, battling back from an early-lap incident to regain fourth place and record the fastest lap. Despite challenges in the subsequent races, he remains determined to retain his championship lead heading into the next round.
