Two quakes of 4.3 and 4.4 magnitude on the Richter scale were recorded on Sunday in the province of Driouch, said the National Institute of Geophysics (ING). The earthquakes, whose epicenter is located off the province of Driouch, occurred at 07:18:39 a.m. and 07:42:39 a.m. (GMT+1), said the ING National Seismic Monitoring Network in an alert bulletin. Occurring at a depth of 12 km, the first quake took place at a latitude of 35.585 °N and longitude of 3.584 °W, whereas the second tremor, which occurred at a depth of 23 km, took place at a latitude of 35.553 °N and longitude of 3.561 °W, according to the same source.
