Morocco's Ilhame Bel Makhfi won the title of Miss Arab World 2020, during a ceremony held on Thursday at the end of the Arab Tourism Festival in Cairo, Egypt. According to Egyptian media, Ilhame, 28 and holder of a master's graduate in economics, stood out among the 12 candidates from 12 different countries, including Libya, Tunisia, Egypt, Comoros, Djibouti, Sudan, Somalia, Jordan, Algeria and Iraq. The Egyptian Nourhan Ahmed won the title of first runner, Ahlam Sweidy obtained the title of second runner while the titles of third and fourth runner went respectively for Algeria's Souha Zaid and Iraq' Maryam Ahmed.
