Moroccan footballer Abderrazak Hamdallah has been named 2019's top scorer, scoring 57 goals in all competitions, wrote BBC Sport. Currently playing for Saudi club Al Nassr, Hamdallah has managed to top other internationally renown scorers, including Munich's Robert Lewandowski who scored 54 goals and Barcelona's Lionel Messi with only 50 goals. «I am very happy today that I achieved the top scorer of the world in 2019 with 57 goals», Hamdallah said. «This is an honor for me and for everyone. I thank my team, especially the players, for their help and I do not forget Al Nassr fans. I'm looking forward to another successful year», he explained. Hamdallah, who was named Saudi Arabia's best scorer for this season, announced his retirement from international football in November.
