American multinational virtual reality and augmented reality software developer EON Reality has teamed up with the United States Agency for International Development (USAID) to launch the first Interactive Digital Center (IDC) in Morocco, Intelligence CIO reported. The new Interactive Digital Center, located in Mohammed VI Polytechnic University's campus in Ben Guerir, is set to «provide Augmented and Virtual Reality (AVR) technology, solutions, and products to Morocco's growing Digital Transformation of the academic, industrial and government sectors», the same source said. More IDCs will be launched in the Kingdom as EON Reality is collaborating with other organizations to make this come true. In fact, the company has signed agreements with other Moroccan partners, including Agency for Digital Development, Mohammed V University in Rabat, the Moroccan Ministry of Industry, Investment, Trade and Digital Economy, and the Moroccan Ministry of National Education, Vocational Training, Higher Education and Scientific Research.
