Morocco and Canada have agreed to promote bilateral cooperation in the field of aerospace, officials from both countries said. At a reception held in Ottawa to honor members of skilled Moroccans in aeronautics in Canada, Moroccan and Canadian officials emphasized the importance of promoting business investments in Morocco in the field of aeronautics. They also highlighted the need providing vocational training, research and development in this area. Speaking during the event, Souriya Otmani, Morocco's ambassador to Canada recalled that the network will play an important role in attracting Canadian investors in the field. For its part, Amal Abhir, president of Aeromac Experts, said that the network aims to mobilize Moroccan skills in aeronautics to consolidate technical monitoring through trainings at universities and offer partnerships. For the record, the first Moroccan Skills Forum in Aeronautics in Canada was held in Skhirat last October, with the aim of strengthening the involvement of Moroccan skills in Canada. Canada is the world's third largest manufacturer of aeronautical products.
