The 31-year-old forward joined Germany's FC St. Pauli in April 2016. He scored his first goal for the Atlas Lions during a 2017 Africa Cup of Nations qualification match. The footballer was a member of Hervé Renard's World Cup squad that travelled to Russia and played three games. During Morocco's match against Iran Bouhaddouz scored an own goal which resulted in a loss for the team.
