Muslim community representatives in the municipality of Roquetas de Mar (Southern Spain) have expressed their «worries» after the dead body of a Moroccan woman was found on Saturday 31st of March. They demanded «the Spanish authorities to do everything they can» and «investigate the death», of the Moroccan national said online newspaper Ideal. «We want to know who killed her,» they said. The victim, aged 48 years old, was single and childless, said Abdellah Zaitoumy, president of Almohamadia association, which has contacted the victim's brother and sister. She had been living in Spain for «almost ten years,» he added. She was living in a shared flat at the time of her death. It is also her roommate who found her lifeless body last Saturday. The Civil Guard simply said that they found no signs of violence when they discovered the body. A Roquetas de Mar's court requested the secrecy of the investigation, forbidding the repatriation of the woman's body. The deceased's family contacted the Moroccan consulate in order to eventually repatriate the body to Morocco. Her body was transferred to the Institute of Forensic Medicine (IML) of Almería for an autopsy. The latter's results will decide on the body's repatriation.
