Casablanca is set to host the Design Week, which will be an opportunity for designers and creaters to gethaer for seven days, according to a press release issued by the Houna collective, the organizer of the event. Casablanca Design Week, «a unifying event, conceived as a free initiative and enameled by exhibitions, meetings and discoveries, to confirm the dimension of Casablanca as a place of creation» will be held from the 24th to the 30th of October and will bring together creators, professionals and visitors. Trying to showcase different designs, the Houna collective has worked hard to organize in more than ten places a series of events around the theme «what do we conceive?», offering the opportunity to institutionalize the culture of design through a plural approach. A first edition that will be translated into urban walks, a physical exhibition, conferences and a whole digital program, continues the statement. The collective Houna also takes this opportunity to launch a call for applications. «As part of its participative and open approach, Casablanca Design Week is open to designers, spaces, galleries, restaurants, companies and volunteers who wish to contribute,» says the group that invites designers to check the website of the event up.
