For the first time ever, a Moroccan civil society delegation will officially participate during the 4th, 5th and 6th of May in an event organized by the African Commission of Human Rights in Niamey. The delegation is flying to the Nigerien capital in a few hours. Morocco has been rarely present at the African reunion because of the conflicts surrounding its departure in 1984. Things have changed by the beginning of 2017 when Morocco rejoined the African family. At the end of every assembly attended by the African NGOs, a set of recommendations are raised to the heads of States. For the record, Morocco did not attend the last conference of African associations that was hosted last January in Addis-Ababa right after the 28th summit of the AU.
