Morocco has not yet commented on the United States' missile strike in Syria that took place on Friday 7th of April. The Moroccan Ministry of Foreign affairs and Cooperation has not reacted to the military order that US President Donald Trump gave in response to Syria's alleged use of chemical weapons. Saudi Arabia, United Arab Emirates, Qatar, Bahrain and Kuwait have all backed the US missile strike in Syria that targeted Shayrat airfield in Homs province in western Syria. The same decision was also adopted by Jordan. The Kingdom's silence could be interpreted as a way to avoid irritating Russia before the UN Security Council that will adopte in two weeks a new resolution plan for the Sahara. On the 23rd of March, a delegation from the Polisario led by M'Hamed Khadad, went to Moscow where talks were held with the Russian vice minister of Foreign affairs Mikhail Bogdanov.
