Morocco is strengthening its presence at ITB Berlin, the world's largest tourism trade fair, held from March 4 to 6, 2025. The Moroccan National Tourist Office (ONMT) is leading a significant delegation alongside key industry federations to promote Morocco as a destination, solidify partnerships, and explore new opportunities. The event also serves as a strategic media platform, enhancing the country's visibility in target markets. The Moroccan pavilion showcases several key destinations, including Tangier, the Oriental region, Fez, Beni Mellal, Drâa-Tafilalet, and Casablanca, with a particular focus on Agadir and Marrakech. As part of its participation, the ONMT is signing four major agreements with Expedia, Condor, Alltours, and Discover Airlines. Expedia has committed to a three-year partnership aimed at doubling overnight stays and expanding into new markets. Condor and Discover Airlines are strengthening air links between Morocco and Germany, facilitating travel for German tourists. Meanwhile, Alltours is increasing Morocco's visibility among German travel agencies and distributors. Through this initiative, the ONMT reaffirms its strategy to develop the German market, Morocco's fourth-largest source of tourists. In 2024, 826,282 German visitors traveled to the country, marking a 22% increase from 2023.
