Egyptian football powerhouse Al Ahly has secured the services of Moroccan talent Achraf Bencharki, announcing his acquisition on a free transfer this Thursday. The announcement follows the news from Qatari club Al-Rayyan, which revealed on Wednesday that it had amicably parted ways with Bencharki, terminating his contract by mutual consent. Sources within the Egyptian media have disclosed that Bencharki has inked a deal with Al Ahly, committing to the club for two and a half seasons. This signing marks Bencharki as the fourth Moroccan to join the ranks of Al Ahly, alongside fellow compatriots Yahya Attiat Allah, Achraf Dari, and Reda Selim, further strengthening the club's Moroccan connection. Currently holding third place in the Egyptian league standings, Al Ahly has amassed 20 points over 10 matches, boasting a record of five wins and five draws, with zero losses. The team has netted 16 goals while conceding just six, demonstrating their solid performance this season.
