The discussions centered on «issues relating to bilateral cooperation between Congo and Morocco, which have enjoyed excellent relations of friendship and cooperation for many years, as evidenced by the high-level visits made by the various authorities to each other», according to a Congolese media outlet. In August 2024, the two nations signed a memorandum of understanding in Rabat to bolster bilateral cooperation in the fields of the environment and sustainable development.
