France has reaffirmed its commitment to its strong partnership with Morocco following the European Court of Justice's (ECJ) ruling on the EU-Morocco fisheries and agriculture agreements. In a statement, the French Ministry of Europe and Foreign Affairs emphasized the strategic nature of the EU-Morocco relationship. France, noting the ECJ's three rulings, stated its intention to continue working with European partners to strengthen exchanges, particularly economic ones, and preserve the gains of the partnership while upholding international law. As mentioned in French President Emmanuel Macron's Throne Day message to King Mohammed VI, France remains committed to supporting Morocco's efforts to promote economic and social development in the Sahara for the benefit of the local population, the French Ministry added.
