Fighting units of the Royal Navy have rescued, between April 10-12, in the Mediterranean, 100 irregular immigrants, according to a military source. The immigrants, mostly sub-Saharans, including women and children, were drifting in inflatable boats, the same source noted. After receiving first aid on board of Royal Navy units, the immigrants were brought back to the nearest ports of the Kingdom and handed over to the Royal Gendarmerie for routine procedures.
