A total of 242 sub-Saharan migrants, including 50 women and 12 minors, who were experiencing difficulties onboard several inflatable boats, were rescued on Friday in the Straits of Gibraltar and the Mediterranean by the Coast Guards of the Royal Navy, a military source said. The survivors, some of whom were in bad health condition, received the necessary care aboard the Royal Navy units and were brought back safe and sound to the Kingdom's Mediterranean ports for the usual administrative procedures, it added.
