The Moroccan national team can now benefit from the services of Adam Massena, a Moroccan-Italian footballer who plays English club Watford, according to a press release from the Royal Moroccan Football Federation. The Football body received a letter from FIFA regarding «the approval of the accession of player Adam Massena to the list of Moroccan national teams». The letter follows the request submitted by the Moroccan federation. The 27-year-old Watford defender previously played for Italy's U23 football team after growing up in Italy. Born in Khouribga in Morocco, he left with his biological father to Bologna in Italy. Adam Masina was adopted with his brother and grew up in an Italian family. At the age of 18, he signed his first professional contract with FC Bologna in 2012. In July 2018, he joined English club Watford FC, playing in the Premier League. During the current season, the Moroccan-Italian took part in 19 matches with his team, in which he scored two goals.
