Fifteen Moroccan political, trade unions and associations agreed on Sunday at the central headquarters of the Moroccan Association for Human Rights (AMDH) to set up a group «aimed at rejecting normalization». In a joint statement sent to Yabiladi, it was agreed that this framework would be called «the Moroccan Front in support of Palestine and against normalization». A national secretariat composed of 17 members was elected for this purpose. Thus, Taueb Medmad was chosen as coordinator of the Front's secretariat, while Abdessamad Fathy and Sion Asidoun were elected as deputy coordinators. Among the founding bodies are AMDH, the Al Adl Wal Ihsane movement and the Moroccan League for the Defense of Human Rights, among others. In order to present the results and achievements of the founding general assembly, and to present the front, its objectives and its program, the secretariat will organize a press conference on Thursday in Rabat, the statement concluded.
