Former champion athlete, Moroccan Khalid Skah, shows a photo of his daughter Salma and son Tarik as he holds a press conference in Rabat on August 5, 2009. Skah accused «the ambassador of Norway in Morocco of kidnapping» his two children, both under 18, and stated that he intended to launch a «legal case against the Norwegian government in an international court.» According to the Moroccan foreign ministry, the children were taken out of the country through a little port in the north of Morocco with the help of a mafia-like network and techniques used in smuggling and human trafficking. The children's Norwegian mother, Anne Cecilie Hobscot, left Morocco in 2007 to return to Norway, while the children lived with their father.
