Valencia FC are closing in on the signing of Moroccan international defender Zouhair Feddal from Real Betis, according to Spanish newspaper Marca. Los Che have been in the market for an emergency defender to cover for the injured Ezequiel Garay and are proposing a loan deal with an option to buy at the end of the season, the source added. Valencia have agreed a deal to bring Feddal to Mestalla before they and Betis meet there in LaLiga Santander on Saturday. However, Betis are lacking defensive options themselves on Saturday, with Marc Bartra suspended for the clash. Los Verdiblancos could include a clause in the deal that means the Moroccan won't play against them on Saturday or that Valencia are obliged to buy him. Betis signed Feddal from Alaves for three million euros in 2017.
