The «Who is Who» Award for women leaders in the world went, Wednesday, in Athens to Moroccan photographer Leila Ghandi. Greek Minister of Shipping and Island Policy John Plakiotakis handed down the award to Ghandi during a ceremony that celebrated thirteen other women from all over the world. Ghandi received this award for her work and efforts related to women and their empowerment. Speaking at the award ceremony, she said that she was proud and happy to be one of the awarded women. The first Moroccan woman to travel the world alone and inspire other women to follow her path, she is also a TV host and a content producer with nearly one million followers. Leila Ghandi is also known for her commitment to women's empowerment, environmental protection and intercultural dialogue. She is also an international lecturer for the United Nations and the European Parliament.
