A Danish woman and a Chinese national were found Friday by the police after their families alerted authorities in Morocco, stressing that they couldn't reach them. Police in Marrakech located the Danish-Somalian woman who went missing in suspicious circumstances. A communiqué released by the General Directorate for National Security (DGSN) said that the father of the 24-year-old tourist warned the police in Marrakech, where his daughter was holidaying. He told the authorities that he couldn't reach his daughter who left her place in England to visit Morocco. Investigation conducted by the authorities revealed that the young woman was not missing and that she was safe and sound, the same source added. In Fes, investigations conducted by the police managed to locate a 22-year-old Chinese national, who was also the subject of a search notice submitted by her family. The father, who is a Chinese national, said that his daughter might be abducted. However, police found out that the young woman has been with an individual that she met in the country of her own free will. Two judicial investigations were opened under the supervision of the competent prosecutor's offices in Fes and Marrakesh, in order to determine the circumstances of these two cases, conclude the two communiqués.
