On Monday, a Moroccan-plated car bursted into flames in the Puerto Banus resort in Marbella (Spain), after it exploded. While Spanish newspaper ABC said that the incident occurred due to an electrical short-circuit, Dutch online newspaper Boevennieuws reported, citing «reliable sources», that the vehicle in question belongs to «Nadir A.T., better known as «Rat», a member of the Moroccan-Dutch mafia. According to the same source, «four Moroccan nationals» were in the car that exploded and were not injured. Nadir was accompanied by «his right hand man Patrick» known as «Pepe». The same source says that the latter was arrested in «January for being involved in the assassination of Jair Wessels in Breukelen (Netherlands)», because of drug trafficking. Due to lack of evidence, he was released in June. The Dutch court believes that Jaïr Wessels was «sacrificed as part of a transaction», under the instructions of Ridouan T., originally from Morocco and actively sought in Europe. Ridouan T. is also involved in the assassination of Hakim C., who is related to the case of embezzlement of 500 kilos of cocaine owned by a man called Rico and dubbed 'the Chilean'.
