Identified as Abdallah Lachiri, the man is believed to be a presumed jihadist bearing a Moroccan nationality and could be facing a 10-year sentence. Abdallah Lachiri, who was arrested in Valencia, in Spain's southeastern coast, On June the 7th 2016, was conducting «propaganda, selection and recruitment» activities to find potential jihadists from his home. The 13 profiles he created on social media platforms had about 22,000 followers. At the same time, he ran a supermarket in Valencia's city center. The prosecutor accused the Moroccan alleged jihadist of having carried out a «particularly active» broadcast of messages in which he not only took a stand in favor of the «Islamic Caliphate,» but also developed techniques to improve jihad, including martyrs.
