The Moroccan General Confederation of Companies (CGEM) organized a seminar on Tuesday, 12th of September at its headquarters in Casablanca, to discuss «Business-management relations : What are the main areas for improvement ?». The meeting brought together about one hundred members of the organization, CGEM said in a statement. The seminar had 4 workshops with the objective of «proposing concrete and applicable recommendations that could remove the administrative barriers faced by businesses in their day-to-day operations and their development». At the end of the workshops, participants highlighted transparency, the need of having effective procedures and the involvement of the private sector in the governance of administrative commissions, the CGEM states. The organization emphasized in its communiqué that all the recommendations suggested during these workshops will be submitted to the government and will be at the center of the National Committee for the Business Environment's work (CNEA) , as well as that of the regional committees of the same name (CREA), of which the CGEM is a member.
