Nearly 500 Moroccans have been ordered to leave the United States, according to data from the U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE). As of November 24, 2024, a total of 495 Moroccans are among the 1,445,549 noncitizens on ICE's non-detained docket with final orders of removal, as revealed in a response by ICE to a question from Fox News. This information comes to light as the newly inaugurated Trump administration has initiated an immigration enforcement campaign, which led to the arrest of nearly 1,000 individuals on Sunday, according to ICE. The arrests were carried out with the involvement of various federal agencies that have been granted expanded immigration powers under the Trump administration. ICE's non-detained docket is a list that comprises removable non-citizens who are residing in the U.S. but are not held in ICE detention centers, though they remain subject to deportation.
