The new home and away jerseys of the Morocco national football team are now on display at Utrecht's Centraal Museum as part of the MODA exhibition, which showcases Moroccan fashion from international designers to local talents. The jerseys represent a significant milestone as they are the first to be designed by someone of Moroccan heritage. According to RTV Utrecht, the jerseys were designed by Abderrahmane Trabsini, co-founder of fashion brand Daily Paper, who previously designed outfits for Beyoncé's concerts at Johan Cruijff Arena in 2023. Curator Zineb Seghrouchni explains that the jerseys are included because they transcend their sporting function to become fashion items. Co-curator Ninke Bloemberg connects the jerseys' exhibition to Morocco's remarkable performance in the 2022 World Cup, citing the pride and energy that moment generated. Trabsini will visit the Centraal Museum on February 16 to discuss the design process and how he secured this historic opportunity to create the national team's uniforms. The jerseys are a late addition to the ongoing MODA exhibition, which features works from fashion houses including BENCHELLAL, Maison Sara Chraïbi, Merrachi, and New Tangier.
