The Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation Nasser Bourita met, Wednesday, at the Jeddah International Exhibition and Convention Center, his Saudi counterpart Ibrahim Ben Abdelaziz Al-Assaf. Bourita was accompanied by Morocco's ambassador to Saudi Arabia Mustapha Mansouri. During this meeting, the two parties «discussed bilateral relations between the two countries and topics related to the 14th Summit of Organization of Islamic Cooperation», said the ministry on its Twitter, quoting the Saudi press agency. Officially, this is the first meeting between the two ministers, knowing that the Saudi official was appointed on 27 December 2018 to this post by King Salman. For the record, Al-Assaf attended, on April 10, the meeting that brought Salman and Nasser Bourita together. Mecca is hosting an ordinary summit of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation this Friday.
