Moroccan goalkeeper Yassine Bounou expanded his contract with Spanish club Girona until 2021, reports BBC sport quoting La Liga. The player has made 17 appearances with the Spanish club in La Liga. The 27-year-old goalkeeper joined Girona in 2016 and will be extending his stay with the club for two years, the same source added. He was loaned to Atletico Madrid for four seasons and to Real Zaragoza. Born in Canada, Bounou debuted his career as a professional footballer with Wydad Casablanca before joining Spain in 2012. He was also chosen to play with the Atlas Lions, making 14 appearances with the team. He participated with Morocco's national team to the 2018 World Cup in Russia.
