Following the deadly accident that killed six people and injured 14 others, on Saturday morning at a railway crossing near the Bni Makada district, King Mohammed VI gave his instructions to create a joint committee bringing together the Interior Ministry's General Inspectorate and the Ministry of Equipment, Transport, Logistics and Water. The latter is expected to launch a enquiry to determine the circumstances of the incident and reveal all the parts involved in the tragic crash, said the two ministries in a joint communiqué sent on Monday to Yabiladi. The same release added that this committee «will be in charge of defining responsibilities, undertaking a thorough investigation and examining all the procedures related to the safety of railway crossings» . For the record, the infamous accident's victims were on their way to work when their transport vehicle got crashed. An investigation is opened by the police under the supervision of the competent prosecutor to determine the circumstances of the accident.
