King Mohammed VI arrived on Sunday afternoon in Abidjan, the royal cabinet announced in a statement. The king is supposed to participate to the 5th African Union- European Union summit scheduled for the 29 and 30 of November in the Ivorian economic capital, the same source added. The participation of the sovereign in this international meeting definitely puts an end to the speculations that surrounded Morocco's presence at the summit. This decision goes hand in hand with Morocco's accession to the African Union. Last January, the king also took the lead of the Moroccan delegation to the 28th AU summit in Addis Ababa.
