Several passengers on the Metro in Madrid, Spain defended on Wednesday a Moroccan couple who have been racially assaulted by a man. The incident took place at around 11. 45 at the República Argentina station on Line 6, RadioMadrid reports today. Annoyed and frightened by the man's insults, several passengers have asked him to leave the metro. He went to the woman wearing Hijab and threatened her saying «I hope you die», and «go back to your country». It did not end there as the man left the station with his arm raised while shouting «Heil Hitler». The victims decided to warn the driver of the racist aggression that had taken place just a few minutes earlier. The couple explained that they had to get off at the República Argentina station, but were afraid that the man would harm them.
