El Wahabi is another Moroccan family that was trapped and killed in the blaze in London. After being given the wrong advice the couple and their three children are presumed dead. Pictures and stories of the families and victims who have been trapped in their apartments during the fire are still circulating all over British and local media. One of the families presumed dead in the blaze is Moroccan couple and their three children El Wahabi. According to the dailymail which published a list of the missing victims and dead families, reported that Abdul Aziz El Wahabi, 52, his wife Fouzia El Wahabi, 42, and their three children, Yasin 21, Nur Huda, 15, and Mehdi, 8 «are all now believed to be dead». Nur Huda El Wahabi The family which used to live in 21st floor are presumed to be dead as they were told to remain in one room lock the door, wet the floor, put towels under the door and wait for help. Speaking to London Evening Standard, Otman Boujettif, 42, who is related to the Moroccan family stated that : «An entire family's been wiped out. We spoke to them at about 1.30am but they'd been told by the fire brigade to stay in their flat, put towels down, wet the floors and wait. But they followed the wrong advice and now they are gone. It's devastating». Hanane Wahabi, Abdul Aziz' sister confirmed the same story telling reporters, as pointed out by the Dailymail, that : «I rang him and the fire had not reached the top of the block at that point. He said he had been told to stay inside, stay in one room together and put towels under the door». Hanane added that «I told him to leave. He said he was going to come. Then I called him and he said there was too much smoke. The last time I saw him they were waving out the window. The last time I spoke to his wife, he was on the phone to the fire brigade». Trapped in their apartment Amina Ahmed, on the other hand, a housewife who lives in the tower located next to Grenfell told the same source that she knows the Moroccan family insisting that : «They were on the 21st floor of Grenfell and were told not to leave their flat when the fire started. Had they left at the time they would have got out alive. I'm so heartbroken as I could see it and could hear families screaming. I felt so helpless. Our building is very similar so we are just terrified of it happening to us one day». Yassin El Wahabi According to Skynews, El Wahabi family is presumed dead as the police told their relatives waiting for official confirmation. For the record, another Moroccan was killed in the huge blaze that occurred in the morning of Wednesday 14th of June. Khadija Khalloufi escaped the building with her husband when she was lost because of the thick smoke. The police found her dead body in the grass next to the building and reported her death to her retired husband Abdullah Sabah. The Moroccan Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation has announced yesterday in a communiqué that 7 Moroccan nationals were killed in the Grenfell horrible incident. So far at least 58 people are presumed dead according to the Standard. For the record, A huge fire broke out on the 13th of June in Grenfell tower which is a 24-story building that contains 120 apartments.
