A ministerial delegation landed on Monday the 12th of June at Al Hoceima to «assess the socio-economic and development projects that are under construction in the region», reports Le 360 who spoke to a governmental source. The delegation is presided by Abdelouafi Laftit, the Interior Minister accompanied with Aziz Rebbah, Minister of Energy, Charafat Afilat, Minister Delegate to the Minister of Energy, Mines, Water and Environment, Abdelkader Amara, Minister of Equipment, Lhoucine Louardi, Minister of Health, Ali Fassi Fihri, Director-General of the National Office of Electricity and Potable Water and Ilyas El Omari president of Tangier-Tetouan-Al Hoceima region. The visit will consider 5 projects which are : the construction of Al Hoceima-Taza highway, the renewal of the drinking water system, electrifying rural areas, building a regional hospital and a unit for desalinating sea water, the same source states. On the 22nd of May, another ministerial delegation that included several ministers visited Al Hoceima following the instructions of King Mohammed VI.
