The president of the Royal Moroccan Football Federation (FRMF), Fouzi Lekjaa, was appointed as the 1st Vice-President of the Confederation of African Football (CAF) on Saturday in Accra, Ghana. This appointment took place during the first meeting of the CAF executive committee, held in the Ghanaian capital. During the same session, other officials were also appointed to the positions of vice-presidents: Ghanaian Kurt Okraku was named 2nd Vice-President, followed by Gabonese Pierre Alain Monguengui as the 3rd Vice-President. The list is completed by the Democratic Republic of the Congo's Bestine Kazadi, appointed as the 4th Vice-President, and Mozambican Feizal Sidat, who now holds the position of 5th Vice-President of the continental body.
