On Wednesday, Wilson met with Morocco's Foriegn Affairs Minister Nasser Bourita, and stated in a tweet that the discussions focused on «long standing partnership and commitment to peace in the region including the stability of Western Sahara from Polisario terrorists». On Tuesday, the United States reiterated its recognition of Morocco's sovereignty over the Sahara during a meeting held in Washington between Bourita and U.S. Secretary of State Marco Rubio.
